These arm bands are like bracers, without losing the unarmored defense bonus. These arm bands are made from shark skin of a hammer head shark. They are grayish in color, and have been boiled in oil to make them hard enough to off protection but soft enough to make you forget you are wearing them. When wearing them, you wrap the band over your hands and arms up to just below your elbows. When doing so, you must hum the jaws music to make use of their magical ability.
When wearing these arm bands, you gain a +5 movement to your swimming speed for the natural water resistances that the hammer head skin has. You can swim smoothly through water as if you were born for it. You also gain a +2 to your AC when in water.
Wearing these arm bands gives you a +1 to your AC even out of water, But if you wear these Hammerhead arm bands and the SharkSkin Kicks, your AC increases to a +2 while wearing both.
Padded armor consists of quilted layers of cloth and batting.
