Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)

Many mages revere the ancient history that prompted the creation of these fine backhand sigents, but that is history. Today, they are used for many a purpose, but the most common is for War Magiks games and championships. The most common of them is made of fine Wizardbane metal and excellent enchantments with specific insignia of a War Magiks Circles.

Reins of the Weave. As a free action on your turn, you can cause the signet to glow with an azure glow, you can use this feature once per X amount of long rests. You gain the following spell slots equal to your character level or lower (your choice).

Character Level Spell Slot(s) Long Rests
1-2 One, 1st Level Spell Slot 1
3-4 One, 2nd Level Spell Slot 1
5-6 One, 3rd Level Spell Slot or Two 1st Level Spell Slots 1d4 Rests
7-8 One, 4th Level Spell Slot or Two, 2nd Level Spell Slots 1d6 + 1 Rests
9+ One, 5th Level Spell Slot or Two, 3rd Level Spell Slots 2d6 Rests

Arcane Fusillade. As a bonus action, you can cause the signet to rupture in a great array of flashing colors that represent the fountains of the Weave. You gain a number of points equal to twice your Proficiency Bonus. These points can be expended to give yourself spell slots that are available to you and are equal to or lesser then the total of points. After which the signet ceases to be magical and disintegrates into worthless dust.

Any additional points not used when this action is taken are then consumed back into the weave.

For example, at 10th level, you have 8 points, so that means may have Four, 1st level slots (costs 4 points), Two, 2nd level slots (costs 4 points), or  Two, 3rd level slots (costs 6 points) etc...
