The Eyes of March is named after a foolish misquoting of an old play by a fairly famous bard. In the play a powerful leader is assassinated during the middle of March or "Ides" of March. Thinking it sounded cool and edgy The assassin, Draven named them the Eyes of March but a 20 on a history check means the true quote is identified and another 20 on insight reveals that the assassin wasn't being ironic or funny but rather isn't as well versed in the classics as he would want to seem.
