Made of Mithral, a flexible light weight metal but has been stained black due to being forged by a mystical flame deep within the sulphurous sea. it consists of an upper breast plate, shoulder pieces and wrist guards. your speed is 3/4 of your normal speed on land and double it in water. it gives a +7 to ac but due to it being made of Mithral no dexterity penalty.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
