Amulet of the Hidden Identity

A small clear gem is suspended in a brass frame, and is hung from a simple leather cord.

When you attune to this magic item, you may create an alternative appearance. As an action, you may assume this alternate physical appearance, as if by the spell Alter Self.
You can then use another action to return to your natural form.

You can only create one alternate appearance. This alternate form must be similar in physicality (Similar arrangement of limbs), but you retain your natural form's racial traits. In order to create a new appearance, you need to re-attune to the item. passing the item through an anti-magic field suppresses the affect. The amulet needs to be worn to take effect, and the effect lasts until dispelled, or an action is used to remove the effect
