This tear-drop shaped field has a bright blue border but is otherwise unpainted. When a paladin attunes to the shield they can choose which holy symbol of other pattern appears on the surface of the shield. This shield is an Oath Shield, a sacred shield with divine powers to help paladins on their path. The more the paladin is faithful to his tenets the more the shield grants new benefits, becoming a paladin's symbol of righteousness.
Abilities unlocked
Shield the faithful as reaction to an enemy attacking an ally of yours you project a spectral image of the sheild up to 100ft. This shield gives +3 to your ally's AC and provides all the benefits of any auras you are current projecting until the start of your next turn. Once used, this ability will recharge at the next dawn.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
