This rather ornate-looking apparatus looks to be covered in a slick oil around its limbs.
This magic longbow does not require ammunition to fire it, and whenever you pull its string back, it creates an arrow that deals acid damage instead of piercing damage. An arrow of this kind gains +3 to attack and damage rolls, and deals an extra 1d6 acid damage on a hit.
Once per long rest, you are able to cast the Melf's Acid Arrow spell through this bow - when you do, the spell acts as if it was cast at 6th level.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Replace Damage Type: Acid, Bonus: Magic, spellcaster, Damage, Combat, evocation, enchantment, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
