Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement by a Eli)
A set of adamantium sword & shield crafter by Leo for his best friend Eli. It has the following effects:
- Adamantine Sword: Whenever you hit an object with this weapon, the hit is a critical hit.
- Adamantine Shield: A shield made from adamantium and is carried in one hand. Wielding a shield increases your armor class by 2. You can benefit from only one shield at a time. While you're wielding this shield, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.
- Returning Weapon: If the shield is thrown, it grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it, and it returns to the wielder’s hand immediately after it is used to make a ranged attack.
- Forgemaster's Embrace: The shield also acts as a scabbard to sheathe the blade. If Eli sheathes his blade within the shield, he can, as a bonus action, pull Leo towards him up to his speed, OR cast one of Leo's spells from the shield, using Leo's spell slots.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
