Weapon (crossbow, hand), uncommon

This strange projectile weapon is built like a crossbow, but lacks the wooden limbs, the stirrup, and the string... as if it relies only on the trigger to fire. The fore grip is made with a chrome sheen, and where the barrel should be there is an opaque fuchsia glass.

This weapon is functionally a hand crossbow, but the damage it deals is force damage, and it never runs out of ammo. Additionally, it ignores partial and three-quarters cover, because its bolts of energy phase through nonorganic matter. It cannot damage constructs.

Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Light, Loading, Range, Vex
