Armor (half plate), very rare
The Altyn helmet regularly gives a base of 16 ac, but when you deploy the face shield, it adds a +2 to your AC, but gives you disadvantage on perception and sight based checks. You also have disadvantage with ranged weapons, as it is hard to aim and see with the Altyn's face shield deployed.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
