This tripple-A necklace carries a five-pointed star. On each of the points a different gem is embedded, one for each element of acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage and in the middle it contains one larger gem. Once this Amulet was used by the great Wizard Cederic of Arcanfield to fight of all kinds of dragons roaming through the lands in search of gold, gems, and most of all: food.
Long after his retirement his home settlement was tortured by a group of plundering Duergars coming from the mountains. This would be his last adventure and now the Amulet needs a new owner with great adventures ahead.
While wearing this Amulet you gain a bonus of +1 to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your wizard spells.
The Amulet is powered with the energy used for an Abjuration Wizard's Arcane Ward and the effects only seems to work when this magical ward is present.
Automatic Absorbance
Whenever your Arcane Ward takes cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage, the Ward captures some of the incoming energy, lessening its effect on you and storing it for your next melee attack. You have resistance to the triggering damage type until the start of your next turn. Also, the first time you hit with a melee attack on your next turn, the target takes an extra 1d6 damage of the triggering type. This effect triggers automatically whenever the relevant damage is received. This Amulet will automatically be triggered up to 3 times per day and restores all charges on dawn. After 3 charges have been used, spell slots can be used to manually activate this effect, this then requires your reaction.
Soul Suction
Whenever a creature you can see (except Undead or Construct) dies within 10 ft. of you, you can use your reaction to transfer soms of thos creatures magical soul into the Amulet. This regenerates 5 HP on the Arcane Ward. Once this effect has occurred it can't do so until you finish a short or long rest
