Weapon (longsword), very rare (requires attunement)

The blade of this magical sword is made from obsidian, the hilt from blackened steel. 

Attacks made with this magic weapon ignore bonuses to AC that were granted by magical means, such as the mage armor spell and magical items bonuses. In addition, damage dealt by this weapon ignores temporary hit points. 

Antimagic Blade. When you hit with an attack made with this magic weapon, you can choose to end one ongoing magical effect from a spell that was cast at 7th level and lower created by the target creature. Additionally, you can touch an object or magical effect with this weapon and end the effect in the same way. Once either of these are used, the weapon cannot be used in this way until the next dawn. 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
