Weapon (lance), legendary

Divine Key made from the core of Herrscher of Death, the 6th Herrscher from the Previous Era. A union between the forces of disintegration and creation, it is formed by an outer white lance and an inner black lance, reminiscent of a flower blooming in the darkness. It's true potential awaits to be awakened.

This weapon deals necrotic damage instead of its base damage type.

As an action while you are wielding this weapon, you can expend a charge to make an attack with this weapon, dealing 2d12 necrotic damage and healing yourself for 1d12 hit points on a hit.

When you touch an object with this weapon that fits within a 5-foot cube, you can choose to make it disintegrate into a fine dust. If the object is magical, you must pass an ability check using your constitution modifier, with a DC based on the item's rarity - 

  • Common - 14
  • Uncommon - 15
  • Rare - 16
  • Very Rare - 18
  • Legendary -  20

If the item does not fit completely into a 5-foot cube, a section of the item that does will be disintegrated.

You can use this feature 3 times per long rest

Proficiency with a Lance allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it. A Lance requires two hands to wield when you aren't mounted.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
