Weapon (morningstar), rare

Despite its vicious nature, this device was, in a distant first draft, meant to resuscitate the unconscious. Aska only took its new form when its designers realized it would be better off in the hands of warmakers.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, which deals an additional 1d6 lightning damage with each hit. Additionally, the weapon has 10 charges. You can expend one charge to chain a bolt of lightning to up to three creatures or objects up to 30 feet away from the creature you hit with the weapon. The creatures must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Once all ten charges have been used, you can't use this feature again until the next dawn, when the charges return.

Proficiency with a Morningstar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
