Alpha and Omega

Alpha and Omega-Alpha and Omega was created when a fay was interested in a rivalry between two veteran fighters. The fay created this item that allowed them to fight despite their old age to their full potential. 

The Alpha and Omega is shaped like a large porcelain chicken egg with the symbol of alpha and Omega on the front of it. it has one charge that it recharges once every longer. 

As an action you can burn a charge separate the eggs and make a 30-ft sphere (counting as a 3rd level rerivify spell) choose two willing creatures in the sphere if either of them goes down to zero hit points they do not drop prone. They can fight as normal but they still have to role death saving throws.

Any hit they take counts as a failure death save and if fail three death saves they are dead.

if the spell is dispel or if the eggs are reunited anyone that is under the effect of the spell and are still rolling death saves are dead. If they leave the spell radius before being stabilized then they are dead.
