This Suit of armor appears as nothing more than a set of greaves, gauntlets and Helm. As an action the player may activate the runes and have intersecting plates of armor wrap along the Players body to form a suit of full platemail. Whilst in a retracted state, the player has the equivalent Armor class of padded armor ( AC11 + dex ) The armor in its extended form grants all the benefits and detractors that a normal suit of platemail would grant. This enchantment also increases the durability of the armor against destructive forces that would otherwise ruin armor (IE rust monster or acids...)
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
