Revenge embodied, created by a powerful mage (b.d.), commissioned by a desperate lover committed to the destruction of the one who shattered their heart. This item seeks revenge on those who have wronged the wearer.
Vow. As an action, name or describe a creature of your choice to designate upon a Nemesis Curse. You immediately apply one point of Vengeance to the target upon placing the curse.
Vengeance. For each day the target is affected by the Nemesis Curse, the spell save DC that the target makes against any spell you cast is one point higher (to a maximum of 7). On the seventh day of Vengeance, the target automatically fails saving throws against any spell you cast.
Vendetta. At the end of the 7 days, you gain resistance to all damage dealt by the target affected by the Nemesis Curse.
As an action, you can change the target in which the Nemesis Curse affects, resetting all stacks of Vengence. You can recast this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus (minimum of 1).
The effects of a spell such as a remove curse can immediately end this effect.
