Armor (plate), very rare

This suit of armor was constructed for the King of the Mithral Hold of Crimson Peak.  Close inspection will reveal Dwarven runes etched over all surfaces of the armor.  This armor is always gleaming as if it had just been scrubbed and polished.  Indeed, no grime will stick to the armor at all and it acts as Armor of Gleaming.  Any cloak that is attached to the armor acts as a Cloak of Billowing.  Once initiative has been rolled any worn helm acts as a Dread Helm, and the armor acts as Armor of Smoldering.  The bearer of this Armor Set will never stink no matter how long it has been since they have bathed.

To further the ability of the king to negotiate this armor allows the bearer to speak one of these languages after every long rest: Dwarven, Elvish, Giant, Goblin or Orc.  Once a language is chosen, any language learned previously through this feature is forgotten.  Wearing this armor will cause the bearer to grow a long, thick beard in just a few days.  No amount of trimming or cutting will tame or remove this facial hair.  The wearer has advantage with Persuasion checks with Dwarves, and gains a +2 to their Constitution Score.

While wearing this armor, you gain a +2 bonus to AC. In addition, if an effect moves you against your will along the ground, you can use your reaction to reduce the distance you are moved by up to 10 feet.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
