This simple plate armor has an engraved symbol of Mithras above the right breast.

in addition to it's +1 bonus, once a day the wearer can call on Mithras to become a beacon of hope to those around him, glowing with the radiance of the sun
This invokes the Cleric spell Daylight (centered on the caster) and Beacon of Hope with a 1 minute duration
In addition while the beacon is active any attacks against the wearer which rely on sight are made at disadvantage. However no stealth is possible and the wearer is extremley easy to see (advantage on all perception rolls)
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
