The right hand has been reinforced with steel cabling and hardened leather, and outfitted with an automatic cycling mechanism designed to hold up to 7 phial cartridges, the last of which is positioned in a shallow depression on the knuckle plate. Once a strike is made, the cartridge is used and destroyed, then automatically replaced as the mechanism advances forward. Once all the phials are used, the wearer must use an action to rewind the arming system and replace the cartridges. The knuckles of the gauntlets are reinforced with a steel plate to aid in striking and to act as a protective anvil against the various phial cartridges that can be cycled.
