Weapon (sickle), unknown rarity (requires attunement by a Rahula)

When an Avatar of Death was summoned by a drawn card from the Deck of Many Things, Rahula was able to defeat its deathly form and its spectral weapon. Having singularly defeated it, the Reaping Scythe was drawn into Rahula's Astral Arms. Now whenever he summons his Astral Arms, they come out with the left arm bearing an Astral Reaping Scythe.

  • Once per turn while Astral Arms are summoned, the Astral Reaping Scythe can be used in place of an unarmed strike.
  • The Reaping Scythe extends its deathly powers into the Rahula's astral form, when it hits a target (in additional to the Monk Weapon die of force damage), it deals an extra 1d8 necrotic and 1d8 force damage to any target it hits.
  • Having escaped death's grasp and reached enlightenment, you have learned how to utilize its dark touch. When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can expend 1 ki point (no action required) to have 1 hit point instead.

Proficiency with a Sickle allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Damage: Necrotic, Damage: Slashing, Replace Damage Type: Force, Weapon Property: Reach, Ignore Weapon Property: Light, Rahula, Light, Nick
