Wondrous Item, unknown rarity (requires attunement by a Spellcaster with an INT of 18 or higher.)

Her hunger for power was insatiable, her resolve stronger than dragon’s hide, and her madness formidable to enemy and ally alike. Annie Mara struck a scar through the land as a lone soldier vying for her membership to the Night Parade. Any power she felt within her grasp she latched onto until she consumed it, slayed it, or it killed her. Blessed with divine intelligence her access to the machinations of advanced magics was only limited by the resources at her disposal. Motivated by the advanced power demonstrated by the Night Parade in their unseen extension of the Blood Wars and Albtraumite presence on the Prime Material Plane, she devised a plan to join their ranks and benefit from their resources. It didn’t take long for her solitary war against devils, demons, and prime expositors alike to come to the attention of The Night Parade, presumably by her intent. Upon her admittance, she quickly cemented herself not only as an integral member and strategist, but their brilliant and creative leader.

Her greed for power and knowledge drove her madness greater and greater until inevitably she succumbed to it and left the Night Parade crippled in what would become their final battle. That which don this gauntlet shall benefit from her power and knowledge, but also her curse.

Dormant State:

    • Cast Detect Magic and Identify at will.
    • The wielder can make a Gripping Strike against a target with this gauntlet with their spell attack modifier. On a hit deal 1d6 + spell casting modifier necrotic damage and the creature makes a constitution saving throw against the wielder’s Spell Save DC. On a fail, you impose your choice effect on the creature :
      • Muddle: For the next minute, anytime the creature makes a concentration check they make it against the spell save DC of the wielder.
      • Siphon: The next spell the creature casts is inert and the wielder regains a number of spell slots equal to the level of the cast spell.
      • Fatigue: The creature takes a point of exhaustion. After a minute, these fatigue points disappear.
      • Only two effects may be active on one creature at the same time.

Notes: Damage: Necrotic, Spellcaster with an INT of 18 or higher.
