A rod measuring about 1 foot long, and appears to be textured like the grip of a weapon. Looking in one end of the rod reveals it to be hollow, and filled with a green slime-like substance.
As a bonus action while you are holding this item, you can command it to take the shape of the base version of any weapon (i.e. no magical weapons). Upon doing so, the slime-like substance will emerge from and form around the rod into the shape of the weapon you requested. This form lasts until you dismiss it or command it to change again.
If the weapon has the ammunition property, the rod can generate 5 pieces of ammunition, after which it will need an hour to recharge before it can make more. You can still use normal ammo used by that weapon if you have it on hand, however.
If targeted by a Dispel Magic of 6th level or higher, the slime-like substance will fall off of the rod and it cannot be used for 1 hour.
This item cannot recreate firearms unless the DM deems it appropriate for the setting.
