This weapon seems to fade or become transparent depending on the angle from which you view it. It appears to be made of some sort of grey crystal, and has steel clasps reinforcing it at the ends and the bend. It appears to be glowing when exposed to bright lights, yet becomes nigh invisible in darkness.
On a hit, this weapon does force damage equal to 2d4 + the wielder's Dexterity modifier.
While the wielder is attuned to this weapon, it phases through its targets, so it returns to their hand regardless of whether it hit or missed.
The boomerang is a ranged weapon, and any creature proficient with the javelin is also proficient with this weapon.
On a miss, a boomerang returns to the thrower's hand.
Notes: Replace Damage Type: Force, Damage: Force, Range

Posted Nov 22, 2021Unfortunately I am not able to remove the original boomerang clause "On a miss, a boomerang returns to the thrower's hand," so just be aware that this still applies to the unattuned, but "While the wielder is attuned to this weapon, it phases through its targets, so it returns to their hand regardless of whether it hit or missed" supersedes this for attuned wielders.
