Adamantine Reinforced Mithral Armor

This is a suit of Full Plate armor made of Mithral so it is light and quiet. Then have it reinforced with adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. Only then does it have the magical properties to be imbued with the Heavy Armor feat.

You feel the strength of this special suite of Plate Armor while you're wearing it.  First you will notice there is no disadvantage to stealth checks. Second, you will find that during non-magical attacks, bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage is reduced by 3. It is the third,  property that is it's most prized, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit enhancing your prowess in any combat situation.

This is such a highly prized suit of armor that few would be willing to part with it. The only ways to acquire a set is through an inheritance, the hoard of some mighty creature, murder, theft, or having one made. The value is easily 10,000 gp or more.

This last option is a very special, lengthy, and precise Smithing and Magical process. It challenging to find and acquire the required material, master craftsmen, compensation and allotted time to combine the best properties of these two metals into one suite of armor, and imbue it with the advantages of the Heavy Armor feat.

Should you acquire one, you should go to great lengths to keep it a secret so as not to become the target of others desires to posses it.

 

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
