A +1 greatsword. To activate the sword, use a bonus action to speak the command word ‘Frostburn’. When activated, ice binds the sword to your hand and it deals 1d6 cold damage to you. When you hit with an attack while activated, the target takes an extra 1d6 cold damage. The activation lasts 1 minute or until you are incapacitated or drop the weapon.
When you draw this weapon, you can extinguish all nonmagical flames within 30 feet of you. This property can be used no more than once per hour. In addition, while you hold the sword, you have resistance to fire damage that cannot be ignored and you learn the Brutal Strike fighting style (UA).
Brutal Strike Fighting Style (UA)
Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can attempt to drive the target back. If the target is Medium or smaller, it must make a Strength saving throw. The DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. On a failed save, the target is pushed 5 feet away from you or knocked prone. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Damage: Cold, Resistance: Fire, Bonus: Melee Weapon Attacks, Damage, Combat, Warding, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
