This polished round marble stone with an inset emerald gemstone has a small hole in the marble where a soft silk necklace chain is fixed and tied through.
Once per day this pendant allows you to cast the spell Speak With Animals. It takes an action to cast this spell through the pendant. You can only cast it on yourself and the duration of this spell is 10 minutes. Once used this spell cannot be cast again until after a long rest.
Although limited by the intelligence of the beast, you can understand and speak with beasts. You learn about the beast's experiences over the last day, as well as local places and creatures.
If your DM allows, the beast may also complete a small task for you, if you can successfully convince it to do so.
