The Ascendant Handwraps grant you a +2 to attack and damage rolls with your unarmed attacks and non-magical monk weapons.
In addition, the Ascendant Handwraps allow you to change the damage type of your unarmed attacks and non-magical monk weapons, and while the handwraps are active you may add your wisdom modifier to damage rolls with your unarmed attacks and monk weapons.

Freedom From Choice: At the beginning of combat, the Ascendant Handwraps align with a damage type from the above table. To decide what type is chosen, roll a d12, the result is the damage type used for 1 minute. On a 12 you can choose whichever type you want.
Freedom Of Choice: If you do not want to use the damage type you rolled, you may roll again, but you gain disadvantage on all saving throws for 1 round.
