An Arganian Coumn is an aged copper-wrought rapier modelled after the weapon used by Argan in their legendary battle and defeat of the Colossus of Asteros. Arganian Columns are bestowed upon renowned seafarers and knights who have pledged to protect all who sail in their company.
While completely submerged in water this magical rapier creates a thin layer of air bubbles around you that cling to your skin giving you the following benefits:
- You can breathe underwater as if you were under the effects of a Water Breathing spell.
- You gain a 40ft swimming speed.
- Once per turn, after a successful hit with this magical rapier, you may use your reaction to cause the target of your attack to be blasted with bubbles. They must succeed on a DC14 Strength saving throw or take 2d4 Force damage and be knocked 40ft away from you.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
