Awakened Grimoire

While this book is held while casting, you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls.

Some kind of Diary or Journal, the pages seem like nonsense until attuned to. It starts off as a list of life events of a young girl but suddenly shifts to a different style altogether.  It list names and conversations as if was some form of communication. In the back it list several recipes for potions and poisons that seem morally dubious at best. The book leaves the user feeling darker with the only way to alleviate is to spread it to others.

Attuning to it allows the user to read it as well as proficiency in creating potions and poison's. It allows gives proficiency to intimidation to any checks that involve threats of harming the target.

Awakened Grimoire:

After one month of being attuned, the User gains access to the additional spells and benefits of the Book. The User's alignment also is slowly changed one level towards evil (Good becomes Neutral, Neutral becomes Evil, Evil alignment does not change). The user begins to think more and more of their own superiority, leading to delusions of grandeur. They will become less trusting of others, seeing them as detrimental to their goals, believing they are superior in skills and intellect. They will continue to seek ways of gaining more power becoming more and more extreme in their methods

The User is not able to take notice of the moral decay the Book has on them and is unwilling to give it up. They are unable to un-attune to it at will and must perform a difficult ritual to remove it. Death of the User will not un-attune the Grimoire. If the User is deceased, it will teleport underneath the arm of its last owner (unless they are in a separate plane of existence) when separated more then 10ft.
