This studded leather armor is made almost entirely of the hide of an ancient displacer beast. Legend has it that the armor was fashioned by a wild sorcerer for his most dear friend, who had the tendency to find himself in many a tight spots with the wrong kind of people. The armor is designed so that it blends with it's surroundings and the studs act as hundreds of tiny mirrors, reflecting everything that is behind the wearer, rendering the act of hiding relatively easy and seamless.
The armor gives a +2 bonus to the armor class and double the wearer proficiency in stealth if they have it, or granting it if they don't. also, trying to hide is now a free action (provided that the wearer is not in plain sight).
Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
