This Plate armor is made entirely of wood iron, and it is said to have been worn by an ancient knight said to live in a forest of the far north, where he was gifted the armor by a forest nymph, as a reward for his effort. The armor is partially covered in moss, grass and flowers, in a constant state of growth, and it is home now of a family of pigmy bats.
The armor gives a +2 bonus to the AC. moreover, the wearer develops a bond with the family of bats, and can cast a version of the spell "Insect Plague" with a swarm of small bats instead of locusts. After casting the spell, the wearer can cast the spell again if they feed the bats with a "Goodberry".
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
