Arcane Prothesis
Wondrous Item, Very Rare, Requires Attunement
.
As part of the attunement process, the bands of this item are grafted onto the wearer’s severed limb. When fully attuned a magical arm replaces the missing arm. If the prothesis is removed, it becomes inert and unusable.
The prothesis has 6 charges and regains 1d4+2 charges each dawn.
Spell Storing:
The Prothesis can store spells cast into it, holding them until the attuned bearer uses them. The arm can store up to 5 levels worth of spells at a time.
Only the wearer of the Prosthesis can charge the arm by casting spells into it. The spell has no effect, other than to be stored in the Prothesis. If the Prothesis can’t hold the spell, the spell is expended without effect.
When attuned to this item, you can cast any spell stored in it. The spell cast from the prothesis is no longer stored in it, freeing up space.
Spells: While attuned to the prothesis you can use an action to expend some of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC: Mage Hand (1 charge), Mending (1 charge), Shocking Grasp (1 charge), Unseen Servant (1 charge), Continual Flame (2 charges), Scorching Ray (2 charges)
