A whip seemingly made from pure darkness, emanating shadows and crackling with fiery chaos when lashed. It is actually the tail of Argolcheir, a minor demos lord from the very lowest level of the abyss. His insignia is embossed on the base of the whips handle, a depiction of the tail of a demon entwined to form a pentagram. Faint whispers issue forth from the whip.
This whip uses your choice of Dexterity or Charisma for it’s modifier and you are proficient with it if your patron is Argolcheir.
When you attack with this weapon, you may attempt to bind the target as an action, if you do so, the target must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity check or be bound by the whip. Whilst bound, the creature takes 1d6+CHA modifier Psychic damage on each of its turns as you extract their soul, until it breaks free with a successful DC 15 Dexterity or Strength check as a bonus action on its turn. Alternatively, you may move a creature of size medium or smaller 20 feet in a straight line towards you as an action (if you attempt to move a creature against gravity, you must succeed on a successful DC 15 strength check). You may also move an object of small or smaller toward you in a straight line an catch it if you choose to do so.
Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Damage: Psychic, Fitz Voidbreach, Finesse, Reach, Slow
