Weapon (dagger), artifact

This dull dagger has a soft green sheen when light is cast upon it, the handle is wrapped in blue leather and a small ruby sits in its pommel. With closer inspection it appears the edges of the blade do not meet, a small gap keeping the two sides apart and if looking directly at the point a white light can be seen from within. In order to activate the magic, a creature must plunge the point of the blade into their face.

They are immediately transported within the dagger to a pocket dimension with no damage taken, the dagger remains in the exact location it was used with similar effects to an  Immovable Rod. Within this pocket space is a room the mirrors the shape of the dagger, measuring 100 feet long and 30 feet wide coming to a point at the entrance where a door may be stepped through to exit.

A magical work station sits at the far end of the room with equipment available for the creation of potions, magical items and scrolls, the wall behind it having crates, jars and barrels at the ready for storage of components. Lining the walls to either side leading down are bookshelves filled with tomes on a variety of subjects, an index sitting on a lectern near the entrance. Any new knowledge that a creatures speaks or writes while within the dagger is added to the collection automatically. An Unseen Servant stands at the ready to aid anyone who enters but only responds to commands that begin with the words 'Dear friend, would you kindly...'

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
