This pistol looks to be made of a mixture of Platinum, reinforced with adamantine, and has a small sight made of some unidentifiable white metal. Despite its nature, it always feels surprisingly cold to the touch.
You gain +3 to attack and damage rolls you make with this pistol, which ignores the Reload and Ammunition properties. Whenever you make a damage roll with this pistol, add an additional 2d8 cold damage on a hit.
Multi-Shot. Whenever you take the Attack action with this pistol on your turn, you may make an additional attack, in addition to any features that give you additional attacks (such as Extra Attack).
Charged Attack. You can hold your action to prime your gun for an attack - when you take the Ready action with the intent to shoot this gun, and land a hit from the resulting Reaction, you instead treat the attack as if it were a Critical Hit. You are only able to make one attack in this way, even if you are able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action. You are able to make attacks of this nature a number of times equal to your DEX modifier (minimum once), and regain any expended uses after a long rest.
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Cold, Bonus: Extra Attacks, creature with proficiency in Firearms, Damage, Combat, evocation, Range, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload
