You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
This bow crafted from iron wood and reinforced with a small amount of adamantine cannot be drawn by anyone but the creature attuned to it, who can pull the string as easily as a child's bow.
When the string is drawn to fire, a straight and sharp branch with leaf fetching grows from the bow ready to loose and ignores disadvantage caused by long range. Once a target is hit by an arrow created by the bow you can as a bonus action speak the word "root" in elvish to make the arrow deploy roots into the targeted creature, the creature must make a strength saving throw equal to your spell save DC, taking 2d6 piercing damage and leaving the arrow in place on a failed save, or take the same damage and remove the arrow on a successful one. If the arrow is still imbedded in the target on your turn you can use a bonus action to make the roots writhe causing another 2d6 piercing damage to one creature, the target can repeat the saving throw on each of their turns removing the arrow on a success. If another arrow hits a target that already has one imbedded in it, the arrow deals it initial damage then withers away.
When an arrow is shot into the ground and has been rooted as described above you can spend a bonus action to speak the word "grow" in elvish to make the projectile sprout into a 30ft tall tree.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
