This amulet was enchanted with an orange glimmershard and has 7 charges. When you cast a spell that creates or reasserts control over one or more undead creatures, you may expend a charge as part of the casting of the spell to give the undead creature(s) temporary hit points equal to 10+your spellcasting ability modifier which last for up to 1 hour. As long as an undead creature has these hit points, it gains a +1 to attack and damage rolls and adds your proficiency bonus to its strength, dexterity, and constitution saving throws. You can also use your reaction to give one undead creature that still has these temporary hit points resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage until the start of your next turn.
As an action, you can expend 4 charges to target one undead creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 14). On a failed save, the target must obey your commands for the next 24 hours, or until you use this effect again. An undead whose challenge rating is equal to or greater than your level is too difficult to command and remains under your control for a number of minutes equal to your spellcasting ability modifier before breaking free of the enchantment. Each time the target takes damage, it can make another saving throw to break the effect. When it succeeds on a saving throw the effect ends.
When you expend the last charge from this amulet, roll a d20. On an 18 or 19 it regains 3 charges. On a 20 it regains 7 charges. Otherwise it becomes a mundane arcane focus.
