Alchemy Box

This small wooden box appears to be made out of a beautiful violet wood, and is 1 foot long, 6 inches wide and 6 inches deep. It always weighs 12 pounds no matter what is inside. A gentle rattling sound can be heard from within the box when it is shaken, even if it's empty.

You can use an action and name one solid from the table below to cause the box to produce the chosen solid. Afterward, you can open up the box as an action and pull all or some of the contents out. It will create as much as can fill the box, afterwards if you close the lid it will continue to make the chosen solid until it reaches its maximum. The maximum amount the box can make is determined by the table.

Once the box starts producing a solid, it can't produce a different one, or more of one that has reached its maximum, until the next dawn.
