Sealed Magic. This weapon does not count as magical for the purpose of overcoming Resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Evolving Item. When you reduce a creature which possesses the Spellcasting or Innate Spellcasting traits to 0 Hit Points while attuned to this weapon, it gains magical properties as it moves towards Awakening.
- If the creatures CR is 1 or higher, the Avionkey loses the Sealed Magic trait.
- If the creatures CR is 2 or higher, the Avionkey gains 1 minor beneficial traits.
- If the creatures CR is 3 or higher, the Avionkey gains 1 minor beneficial trait.
- If the creatures CR is 4 or higher, this Avionkey (Dormant) becomes an Avionkey (Awakened), gaining its own unique form and properties.
True Bond. You cannot attune to more than one Avionkey at any given time. If you attempt to do so, your Avionkey becomes unattuned to you, and you cannot attune to an Avionkey for a 1d4+1 days.
If your Avionkey is lost or destroyed and you attune to a new Avionkey, the new item gains the properties of the last Avionkey you attuned to.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
