Athél'andi means 'death bolt' in Elvish. This magic longbow was made from a large, jagged bone of unknown origins, blackened by time. When held up to one's ear, the user may be able to hear the distant whispers of the departed souls whose lives this bow claimed.
You can cast the chill touch cantrip while you are attuned to this weapon, using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability. If you have the Extra Attack feature, you can make one ranged weapon attack with your bone bow when you cast chill touch.
When you deal damage with this weapon with an attack or spell, you regain hit points equal to half the damage you deal. You can use this feature once, and regain use of it at midnight.
You may also use Athél'andi as a melee weapon with the two-handed property, using your Dexterity modifier for attack and damage rolls. This weapon deals 2d8 slashing damage when used in this way, but the bow's serrated edge also deal 1d4 piercing damage to the user.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Damage: Slashing, Ranger, Damage, Combat, Bane, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
