A small rectangular piece of polished stone enchanted with the sending spell. While they are considered wondrous, they are fairly common as local mage guilds make them for adventurers, nobles, and well-off merchants in abundance, with the first being made by Archmage Alvanir. Virtually any stone can be used as the base for the enchantment, but higher quality stone or stone with added decoration is charged more for. Nobles will most often pay more for the decorated stone as a show of wealth and station. Allows the use of the Sending spell without limit when outside of combat. Using the stone in combat requires an action and opens the user up to an opportunity attack from enemies within melee range.
