This battle-ax is barely worth of the name at first glance. The shaft a plain length of wood, the head roughly shaped iron, and a single strip of shark-skin as grip. The moment the Ax is picked up though, its power is revealed in painful clarity. This is the first weapon ever made, the first instrument created with the sole purpose of being a weapon and not a tool.
The Ax gives it owner a +5 to hit and damage, critical hits at 19 and 20, and does triple damage. Furthermore, if used against any plant, it restore their life essence instead of doing damage. Lastly, if the owner sacrifices half of their current hp to the Ax, the damage of the Ax is amplified, and it now deal 1d100 instead of 1d8. (The new total hp become the new maximum for the next hour. At the end of the hour, the Ax reverts to 1d8.)
