All-Purpose Weapon, +1

You can use a bonus action to mentally command this simple looking Silver ring to transform into any melee weapon or shield with which your are proficient. You can choose which form the item takes each time you create it (see the "Equipment" chapter in the Player's Handbook for the shield or a list of weapons). If used as a weapon, it adds a bonus of +1 to attacks and damage. If used as a shield, it grants a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC

If it is dropped or thrown, the weapon or shield disappears at the beginning of the wearer's next turn. It also disappears if the transformation is dismissed (no action required), or if the wearer dies. No matter how it disappears, the item immediately reappears back on the user's finger.
