The Artemis bow was forged to be both a powerful bardic focus and a ranged weapon.
The bow is made of a magically enchanted highly flexible Emberwood and coated with chromatic alloy.
When folded it takes the form of a larger then normal lyre or harp but can unfold, to form a longbow of exquisite design. Y
When in its harp form the bow can be used as a bardic focus to channel spells and empower the bard's spell casting ability. The bow requires a Bonus Action to unfold into the bow or refold into the harp.
Artemis Harp has different abilities in each form:
HARP: While holding Artemis in harp form, you gain a bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your bard spells. The bonus is determined by the bows rarity.
As an action, you can play the Artemis Harpo regain one use of your Bardic Inspiration feature. This property of the Harp can't be used again until the next dawn.
BOW: You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
