Most adventurers wouldn't willingly reach into this oddly "enchanted" quiver. But you're different. The fact that the quiver happens to be carnivorous doesn't seem to bother you, nor does the fact that it seems to have ingested a seemingly endless quantity of unorthodox ammunition. You're not inclined to ask questions. You're inclined to see what you can obtain from this quiver, which is absolutely, positively, not a live mimic that seems to only be interested in consuming ammunition and hands.
Reach inside. Once per day, as an action, you may reach into this bag and attempt to pull out a handful of unorthodox munitions, which can substitute for either crossbow bolts or arrows. Make a Dexterity saving throw (DC=14). On a failure, you suffer 2d6 piercing and 1d6 acid damage as the quiver, which is absolutely not a mimic, attempts to eat your hand. Regardless of whether you succeed or fail, roll a single d12 to determine both the quantity and type of ammunition you are able to extract from the quiver. All of the ammunition is consumed upon firing, and is considered interchangeable with crossbow bolts and arrows.
One glass shard humming with chromatic energy, which deals an additional 4d8 damage of a random type per the rules of the spell Chaos Bolt. If any two dice are the same, add an additional 2d8 damage.
Two fiery wand fragments, which deal an additional 1d10 fire damage.
Three venomous snakes, which deal an additional 1d8 poison damage.
Four sticks coated with purple fungus, which deal an additional 2d4 psychic damage. Just handling them makes the sky turn purple, even indoors!
Five shards of a solidified gelatinous cube, which deal an additional 1d8 acid damage.
Six arrowheads that rumble when you hold them, which deal an additional 1d6 thunder damage.
Seven icicles that don't melt, which deal an additional 1d6 cold damage.
Eight flickering crystal shards which deal an additional 1d6 lightning damage.
Nine arrowheads wrapped in cactus needles, which deal an additional 1d6 piercing damage to the target and all creatures within ten feet.
Ten sharp springs, which deal an additional 1d6 force damage.
Eleven surprisingly aerodynamic rock-tipped arrows, which deal an additional 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
Twelve sharp sticks covered in salt, which may actually be expired rations, which deal an additional 1d4 piercing damage.
Notes: Damage, Container, Consumable
