The amulet is contains a translucent magical gem on a golden chain. While wearing it the wearer can ascertain any creatures alignment based on the color that the gem changes to. Because of this, they also have advantage on Insight checks against Deception and Persuasion.

Lawful Good turns the gem a radiant glowing white.

Lawful Neutral turns the gem a neon yellow.

Lawful Evil turns the gem a bright red.

Neutral good turns the gem green.

True Neutral turns the gem Grey.

Neutral Evil turns the gem a dull purple.

Chaotic Good turns the gem blue.

Chaotic Neutral turns the gem into a dark silver.

Chaotic evil turns the gem to a pitch black.
