Arcana Goggles are a set of burnished bronze spectacles with various settings to rotate colored lenses in and out. When worn Arcana Goggles will allow the user to read whatever language it's current lenses are attuned to at the time of their manufacture with the slight tint of the glass on each lens representing a particular language.
| Term | Color | Language |
|---|---|---|
| Aurum | Gold | Celestial |
| Crimson | Red | Draconic |
| Vermillion | Orange | Gnomish |
| Saffron | Yellow | Halfling |
| Celadon | Light Green | Elven |
| Viridian | Dark Green | Sylvan |
| Cerulean | Blue | Abyssal |
| Indigo | Indigo | Primordial |
| Lavender | Light Purple | Infernal |
| Fuchsia | Red Purple | Giant |
| Argent | Silver | Dwarven |
Of note Arcana Goggles will not allow the user to speak or write the attuned language. Also older Arcana Goggles might have some lenses that are damaged or missing and may need to be replaced, meaning the more intact an Arcana Goggles are the rarer it becomes.
| Lens Pairs | Rarity |
|---|---|
| 1 - 3 | Common |
| 4 - 6 | Uncommon |
| 7 - 10 | Rare |
| 11 | Very Rare |
Notes: Without lenses Arcana Goggles count as a common item. To make a pair of lenses requires a syllabary written in the chosen language, by someone who is fluent and literate, with the same ink and paper required for a Level 1 Spell as well as a spell-caster with proficiency in glassblowing tools. Once a lens is broken it and its twin lose their enchantment and will need to be replaced, they cannot be repaired with Mending., Utility, Eyewear

Posted Oct 23, 2021Realized that I forgot Sylvan which is ironic considering that the Veridian Monocle on the Wild Beyond the Witchlight D&D Page was what inspired this item.
