This greataxe was used by many barbarian warlords, passed down by generations, finally coming into your hands.
Sentience: Alaric is a greataxe with 9 Intelligence, 12 Charisma, and 13 Wisdom. It communicates telepathically with its wielder. It has hearing and dark vision up to 120 feet. Alaric was forged in an unknown place. It says that it doesn't remember where. This can make a good adventure.
Strength Score Attunement You must have at least a strength score of 19 to be attuned to the greataxe
Going Beserk Every time you make a critical attack, roll a d20. On a 1-10, you go berserk. When you are berserk, you have a -1 on attack rolls and if it hits, you deal a whopping 3d12 damage! Once you make a damage roll, the berserk effect ends. Also, when you are berserk, your movement speed is doubled, and your hit point max is halved.
Horn of Barbarians You can use the end of the axe as a horn. If you are levels 1-4, you summon 1d4 -2 barbarians (use the barbarian stat block) at levels 5-10, you summon 1d4 -1 barbarians, at levels 11-16, you summon 1d8 -1 barbarians, and at levels 17-20, you summon 8 barbarians. You cannot use this again until you complete a short rest.
Barbarian's Smash and Wrath (I cannot unbold this part for some reason, sorry!) Once used, you jump up in the air for 12 seconds (2 combat rounds) and then do a DC 10 Constitution check. On a failed save, you fall and take 3d12 bludgeoning damage (31) and become prone. On a successful save, you only take 1d4 (3) B damage. You slam your axe on the ground, deal 6d12 slashing damage to the target. You also deal 3d8 force damage to anyone at least 10 feet away or closer, 2d8 for 11-20 ft, 1d8 for 21-30 feet away. Once you did that, you automatically go berserk. Once you are done being berserk, roll a d20. On a 1, Alaric becomes unattuned to you and you cannot re-attune it. On a 20, you can use this skill again. Anything in between means that you cannot use this skill until Alaric feels comfortable using it (5 Days)
Thank you for taking your time to read this! If you like it, please let me know! Thanks :)
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: barbarian class creature, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
