Attacks with this magic weapon ignore a target's magic bonus to AC (e.g. shield) or other magical effect (e.g. the bonus granted by a magic item). If a target's AC is wholly the effect of a spell (e.g. mage armor), the target's AC is instead 10 + its Dexterity modifier. In addition, this weapon ignores temporary hit points, instead dealing normal hit point damage.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Melee Attacks, Damage: Piercing, Finesse, Light, Vex
